Windows mail account setting

Windows mail account setting
 
 
 
Tools=>Accounts=> then
 
Click add..
Enter your name
 
 
Enter your email address
 
POp3 account:
Incoming mail: pop3.mailserver.com
Outgoing mail : smtp.mailserver.com
(mail servers:gmail,ymail,live..etc...)
or
IMAP account:
 
Incoming mail: imap.mailserver.com
Outgoing mail : smtp.mailserver.com
(mail servers:gmail,ymail,live..etc...)
Enter your email address and password
click (yess) do not down;load my e mail at this time
 
click tools=>Accounts => click on the mail account the click on Properties => Advanced tab=>
 
Now, select the Advanced tab. At this point, select both of the This Server Requires A Secure Connection (SSL) check boxes first, then type 465 in the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) text box and 993 in the Incoming Mail (IMAP) text box, as shown in Figure H. (Keep in mind that if you type numbers in the text boxes before you select the check boxes, the numbers may revert to the default values, which will cause connection problems.)

Then click OK
 
 
 
Yahoo POP3 and SMTP Settings:
  • Incoming Mail (POP3) Server: pop3.mail.yahoo.com (Use SSL, port: 995)
  • Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com (Use SSL, port: 465, use authentication)
  • Account Name/Login Name: Your Yahoo! Mail ID (your email address without the “@yahoo.com”)
  • Email Address: Your Yahoo! Mail address (e.g., user@yahoo.com)
  • Password: Your Yahoo! Mail password
